Bangers act as the exclusive food partner serving a traditional Bavarian street food

After a year’s break due to the pandemic, South London’s biggest Oktoberfest
celebrations are back in the heart of Brixton and taking place on Saturday 2nd, 16th
and 23rd of October 2021.

The festivities will run from 1pm - 8pm each day and welcome up to 4,200 tickets
holders over the three separate events (subject to government regulations, ensuring
the safety of all patrons comes first).

The iconic Electric Brixton will be transformed into an all singing, all dancing
Bavarian beer hall complete with long wooden tables and bunting, fit for a decadent
bohemian party. London’s own Bratwurst & Bangers will provide the iconic sausages
bringing home the authentic south german taste serving up some of the best wurst
they have to offer. Alongside excessive beers and endless delicious sausage,
attendees to Oktoberfest South London can expect live music from German Jukebox
live 5-piece brass band, keeping the classic oompah favourites rolling throughout the
day. DJs across the events include DJ Danny Vito, and will keep the soiree running
into the evening. Between sets punters can expect up and coming comedians
keeping the giggles rolling throughout.

As any Oktoberfest veteran knows, it wouldn’t be complete without waitresses and
waiters dressed in Dirndl and Lederhosen keeping all steins filled to the brim
throughout the days of indulgence. The highly regarded beers flying over from
Germany are supplied by Spaten, Löwenbräu & Becks all served in the renowned
glass stein to all.

Expect wurst shipped straight from the Black Forest in Southern Germany in many
delicious forms from our caterers Bratwursts & Bangers, including the impeccable
Currywurst and Brotzel (pretzel alternatives), schnitzel sandwiches and sides brot
and paprika spiced fries.

German Jukebox are a 5-Piece oompah & roaming band starting parties around the
world, working with the UK’s no.1 Oktoberfest host Eva Von Schnippisch whose
quick wit and delightful dominance will turn any rowdy crowdy into a pretzel putty.

Electric Brixton boasts an amazing stage with unsurpassed sightlines making it the
perfect venue for large scale events for three weekends. Brixton’s largest
Oktoberfest will take over the event space running from 1pm - 8pm. Ticket holders
are advised to arrive by 3pm.

The safety of our music fans, artists and employees will always be our top priority. Let’s all work together to ensure lockdown rules do not come back.

We will not be asking you to prove that you have been vaccinated, had Covid in the past or a proof of a negative test . If you feel unwell, please do not attend the venue and put others at risk. We also recommend you test on a regular basis.

We will require all masks to be removed upon entering the venue so that ID checks and any security searches can take place.

All our employees will be wearing masks.

Everyone will be required to sanitise their hands upon entering our venue. This helps us keep things safe.

Additional sanitising stations will be located in the toilet areas or by asking any of our employees who will have additional sanitiser behind all service areas and security points.

Venue Cleaning
On top of our enhanced cleaning procedures, we have also implemented Nordic Chem a Antimicrobial spray coating which is a monthly procedure. Nordic Chem coating is a mechanical kill that creates a very thin layer of “nano-spikes” that penetrate the virus/bacteria that comes in contact with the coating and thus killing it.

Social Distancing
The venue will no longer be enforcing social distancing but we understand the venue can get busy so we will be creating additional areas (at the front of the venue) for those who smoke or need some fresh air

Medic Assistance
Our medic is on duty at all events . If you become unwell during your time with us please head to the medic room located on the ground floor and they will assist you. We also have a substantial quantity of Lateral Flow Tests at the venue so if the medic has any concerns with your well- being they will offer you the opportunity to take a test.

Employees of Venue
Our employees will be asked to take two lateral flow tests a week prior to starting work.

Air Quality
The venue is blessed with extremely affective fresh air ventilations that is circulating at all times around the whole of the venue.

Payments & Cloakroom

Our cloakrooms are also now taking card payments so again this will limit cash transactions. Please bring minimal items so that we can space out customers items as much as possible.
