Costadinos Contostavlos, better known as Dappy, is a 4 x platinum selling chart-topping British rapper, singer, songwriter, producer and actor.

Best known for being the frontman of the Camden based super group N-Dubz, with his cousin Tulisa and producer Fazer.

N-Dubz had eight Top 40 hits on the UK charts, the most successful being “I Need You”, which charted at #5. Their debut album, Uncle B was released November 2008 and debuted at #11 on the UK Album Charts. The album has since been certified platinum for shipments of over 300,000 in the UK.

Their sophomore album Against All Odds was released November 2009 and went to #6 in the UK. It went platinum within approximately two months on release.
In 2012, after a successful sol out arena tour, the group announced they would be going on a break to concentrate on their solo careers.

Dappy, no stranger to stardom, released his debut solo single “No Regrets” as the lead single from his debut studio album, Bad Intentions. The song shot straight to #1 on the UK Charts.

Dappy later released another Top 10 single “Rockstar” featuring the legendary Brian May from the iconic group Queen, resulting in Bad Intentions becoming a Top 10 album.

In March 2015, “Beautiful Me” was released and became a Top 20 single. He followed this up with the promotional release “100 (Built For This)” in July and an official single “Money Can’t Buy” in September 2015. Dappy later released his first independent EP, Eros Apollo, on Christmas Day of that same year.

In 2016, Dappy reasled the single “Hip Hip Hooray”, “Kiss” and a freestyle called “Messi”. These songs again were released via an independent label/management.

In July 2017, Dappy released the single “Straight Facts” and the impactful acoustic single “Spotlight” later in October.

2018 saw his platinum selling single “Oh My” featuring fellow British rapper Ay Em, followed by “All We Know”, and in 2019, Dappy collaborated with Tory Lanez, releasing “Not Today”.

2021 and Dappy is ready to release a masterpiece; a body of work to let the world know he’s a musical genius, riding rhythms like no other with word play and metaphors, as a melody king.

Look out for the launch of an explosive EP, entitled Fortune.

Electric Brixton will proudly reopen on July 23rd at full capacity.

The safety of our music fans, artists and employees will always be our top priority. Let’s all work together to ensure lockdown rules do not come back.

The government has asked us to encourage the use of Covid Passports at Electric Brixton but it is not a legal requirement. We will not be asking you to prove that you have been vaccinated, had Covid in the past or a proof of a negative test . If you feel unwell, please do not attend the venue and put others at risk. We also recommend you test on a regular basis.

While masks are no longer required, if you wish to wear a mask inside the venue you can.

Venue Cleaning
On top of our enhanced cleaning procedures, we have also implemented Nordic Chem a Antimicrobial spray coating which is a monthly procedure. Nordic Chem coating is a mechanical kill that creates a very thin layer of “nano-spikes” that penetrate the virus/bacteria that comes in contact with the coating and thus killing it.

Social Distancing
The venue will no longer be enforcing social distancing but we understand the venue can get busy so we will be creating additional areas (at the front of the venue) for those who smoke or need some fresh air

Medic Assistance
Our medic is on duty at all events . If you become unwell during your time with us please head to the medic room located on the ground floor and they will assist you. We also have a substantial quantity of Lateral Flow Tests at the venue so if the medic has any concerns with your well- being they will offer you the opportunity to take a test.

Employees of Venue
Our employees will be asked to take two lateral flow tests a week prior to starting work.

Air Quality
The venue is blessed with extremely affective fresh air ventilations that is circulating at all times around the whole of the venue.
